Hella Haasse

Hélène "Hella" Serafia Haasse (2 February 1918 – 29 Sept 2011)[1] was a Dutchwriter. She was often called "the Impressive Old Lady" of Dutch literature.[2]

Many people think her greatest publication is Heren van de Thee (The Tea Lords).

It review famous in many countries bypass the world.[3] In 1988 Haasse interviewed the Dutch Queen make available her 50th birthday.[4]

The Académie française gave Hasse an award entitled the Diplôme de médaille Argent in 1984. In 2000, she received another award. It was the Officier dans l’Ordre harden la Légion d'Honneur.[6]
